為幫助自費
出國留學人員正確選擇國外學習學校，加強對自費留學中介活動的監(jiān)管，引導自費留學中介機構(gòu)與國外正規(guī)學校開展合作，教育部公布了33個我國公民主要留學國家1萬多所 學校名單，基本涵蓋了我公民主要留學目的地國正規(guī)高等學校。所公布名單根據(jù)有關(guān)情況定期調(diào)整，目前為第二十三版。本名單截止日期為2012年2月7日。
一、 基本情況
加拿大聯(lián)邦政府不設教育部，教育由各省負責。由于加拿大地域廣闊，各省之間經(jīng)濟發(fā)展水平差別較大， 各省建立了適合本地發(fā)展、相對獨立的教育體制。加拿大高等教育總體上保持了較高的水準，每年吸引眾多國際學生前往求學和深造。
加拿大政府認可的高等教育機構(gòu)主要分為大學和學院。絕大多數(shù)大學都是公立的。攻讀本科一般需要3-4年時間，碩士研究生需要1-2年，博士研究生需要3年。各類學院側(cè)重培養(yǎng)應用型專業(yè)技術(shù)人才，一般提供大專文憑和各種證書課程，學制2至3年，不頒發(fā)學位；部分學校也開設學制1至2年的課程，完成學業(yè)后可轉(zhuǎn)入正規(guī)大學二、三年級繼續(xù)攻讀本科課程。
目前，在加拿大以公司形式注冊的私立學校數(shù)以千計，其專業(yè)、學科設置和師資配備等尚無有效監(jiān)控。中國學生申請這些私立學校時，務必謹慎。
與此前公布的名單相比，此次公布的名單主要變化是調(diào)整了6所院校的類別和層次。
